    The fact that the phrase “don’t hit your kids” is so contested and “controversial” is beyond fucked up. 

    Physical punishment is abusive and leads to long term mental health issues, increased risk of substance abuse, further child abuse and future abusive tendencies in victims (cited in first link).

    Ronald Moon Jr., Man Beaten While Defending Community Center, Receives Amazing Support

    An Ohio man badly beaten after confronting robbers stealing from his community center has received a tidal wave of support online.

    Ronald Moon Jr., of Cincinnati, posted aheart-wrenching video Wednesday describing the events that led to his face and body getting covered in cuts and welts.

    This is disheartening as hell. I hope he doesn’t give up. He has all the right to.
